香港特區政府接獲尼加拉瓜共和國政府通知，香港特區護照持有人現時可免簽證前往尼加拉瓜旅遊，最長逗留30天。下月26日起，特區護照持有人也可免簽證前往所羅門群島旅遊，最長逗留30天。 尼加拉瓜和所羅門群島國民下月26日起可免簽證來港旅遊，最長逗留30天。 入境事務處表示，尼加拉瓜和所羅門群島是「一帶一路」沿線國家。在「一帶一路」倡議下，免簽證安排為香港、尼加拉瓜和所羅門群島旅客帶來更大的便利，並有助加強香港與兩國在旅遊、文化和經濟方面的聯繫。 連同尼加拉瓜和所羅門群島在內，共178個國家和地區給予香港特區護照持有人免簽證或落地簽證待遇。
Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passport holders can now visit Nicaragua without a visa for up to 30 days, the Immigration Department announced today. Starting from today they will also be able to enjoy visa-free travel to the Solomon Islands for up to 30 days. Concurrently, nationals of Nicaragua and Solomon Islands can now visit Hong Kong visa-free for up to 30 days. Highlighting that both Nicaragua and the Solomon Islands are part of the Belt & Road Initiative, the department said the new arrangements bring greater travel convenience to travellers from all three places, while strengthening Hong Kong’s ties with Nicaragua and the Solomon Islands in terms of tourism, culture and economy. A total of 178 countries and territories now allow visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to Hong Kong SAR passport holders.
