海關連同入境事務處今日上午在深圳灣管制站進行跨部門反恐行動聯合演習。 是次演習約100名海關和入境處人員參與。演習模擬海關與入境處人員在重要節日舉行跨部門聯合反恐行動期間，懷疑一輛出境私家車的司機和乘客與恐怖活動有關，並發現車內藏有涉恐物品及懷疑偽造旅行證件。 模擬查驗期間，相關人員在出境私家車檢查亭發現懷疑炸彈裝置，並迅速展開疏散行動，安全有序疏散所有在場人士。 是次演習不但提升前線人員的反恐意識和處理反恐情報的能力，更加強各部門在應對涉及恐怖活動緊急事件時的協作與溝通，保障市民生命財產和維護國家安全。
The Customs & Excise Department, in collaboration with the Immigration Department, conducted a joint counter-terrorism exercise today at the Shenzhen Bay Control Point. About 100 officers from both departments participated in the drill. The exercise simulated a joint operation during a major festival, targeting an outbound private car with a driver and passenger suspected of being linked to terrorist activities. Officers detected suspected terrorism-related items and forged travel documents inside the vehicle. During the examination, a suspected bomb device was discovered at the outbound private car kiosk. Officers immediately initiated an emergency plan and evacuated everyone at the scene in a safe and orderly manner. This exercise enhanced frontline officers' counter-terrorism awareness and intelligence-handling capabilities. It also strengthened inter-departmental co-ordination and communication in response to terrorism-related emergencies, protecting public safety and safeguarding national security.
