東 北 部 轉 向 偏 北 方 向 移 動 ， 在 星 期 三 （ 11 月 12 日
） 最 接 近 本 港 ， 於 香 港 以 東 400 公 里 左 右 掠 過 ， 本
地 風 力 預 料 會 在 星 期 二 （ 11 月 11 日 ） 稍 後 至 星 期
三 有 所 增 強 。 天 文 台 會 視 乎 鳳 凰 的 強 度 變 化 、 其 與
本 港 的 距 離 及 本 地 風 力 情 況 ， 評 估 是 否 需 要 在 星 期
二 改 發 更 高 熱 帶 氣 旋 警 告 信 號 。 隨 後 鳳 凰 會 移 向 台
灣 一 帶 ， 並 受 東 北 季 候 風 影 響 而 逐 漸 減 弱 。
在 鳳 凰 及 東 北 季 候 風 的 共 同 效 應 下 ， 未 來 數 日 廣 東
沿 岸 風 勢 頗 大 ， 海 有 湧 浪 ， 天 氣 稍 涼 ， 本 週 中 期 市
區 氣 溫 會 下 降 至 20 度 左 右 。 星 期 一 晚 間 至 星 期 二 凌

the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park : 5
Intensity of UV radiation : moderate Tropical Cyclone Fung-wong will enter within 800 kilometres
of Hong Kong around noon tomorrow (10 November). The
Observatory will issue the Standby Signal, No. 1 after
noontime tomorrow. According to the present forecast track,
Fung-wong will turn northwards over the northeastern part
of the South China Sea. It will be closest to Hong Kong on
Wednesday (12 November), skirting at about 400 kilometres
east of Hong Kong. Local winds will strengthen later on
Tuesday (11 November) to Wednesday. Depending on the
intensity change of Fung-wong, its distance from Hong Kong
and the local wind conditions, the Observatory will assess
the need of issuing higher tropical cyclone warning signals
on Tuesday. Fung-wong will move towards the vicinity of
Taiwan afterwards, and will weaken gradually under the
influence of the northeast monsoon.
Under the combined effect of Fung-wong and the northeast
monsoon, it will be windy and slightly cooler with swells
over the coast of Guangdong in the next few days.
Temperatures in the urban areas will fall to around 20
degrees in middle of this week. Minor flooding may occur
over some coastal low-lying areas overnight on Monday to
the small hours of Tuesday. Members of the public should
pay attention to the latest weather information from the
