Intensity of UV radiation : low Tropical Cyclone Ragasa is expected to move towards the vicinity of Luzon Strait and intensify significantly in the next couple of days. It may reach Super Typhoon intensity and enter the northern part of the South China Sea early next week. According to the present forecast, Ragasa will edge closer to the coast of Guangdong midweek next week. Local weather will deteriorate and winds will strengthen significantly with heavy squally showers and thunderstorms. Seas will be very rough with swells. As storm surge may be rather significant by then, flooding may occur over coastal areas.
