the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park : 1
Intensity of UV radiation : low Thundery showers associated with a trough of low pressure brought more than 40 millimetres of rainfall over most parts of the territory this morning, and rainfall even exceeded 70 millimetres in many places over the New Territories, Sham Shui Po and the Lantau Island. The area of intense thundery showers that affected the territory this morning is departing from the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary. There will still be a few showers over the territory in the afternoon and tonight. Members of the public please continue to pay attention to the latest weather news. Though rainstorm warning has been cancelled, people should stay alert to the danger that may be brought about by river flooding. The air temperatures at other places were:
