保安局局長鄧炳強率領香港特區政府代表團，與深圳市政府副市長羅晃浩率領的深圳市政府代表團今日在深圳市舉行港深口岸規劃建設工作專班會議。兩地團隊就皇崗口岸重建項目、沙頭角口岸重建項目、文錦渡口岸食物管制功能轉移等事宜匯報進展和交換意見。 鄧炳強表示，港深口岸作為粵港澳大灣區的交通樞紐，是兩地經濟往來的重要通道，他期望通過專業規劃和高效管理，為兩地居民和企業提供更便捷的窗口。 他感謝深方悉心安排團隊在皇崗口岸綜合業務樓實地調研，並欣悉新皇崗口岸重建項目進展順暢。他又指，港方上月向立法會保安事務委員會匯報項目，議員均對項目表示支持。 鄧炳強總結會議時表示會繼續關注口岸發展，確保項目順利推進，同時靈活調整策略應對挑戰，實現口岸現代化願景，滿足市民需求。
社會福利署公布，正配合廉政公署調查一宗長者社區照顧服務券計劃認可服務單位懷疑詐騙政府津貼的個案，五人涉案被捕。 社區券計劃以「錢跟人走」的概念，讓長者直接向認可服務單位選擇護理服務、康復服務、照顧者培訓等社區照顧服務，並可以靈活轉換服務單位。 社署去年接獲舉報，指懷疑有認可服務單位透過社區券計劃詐騙政府津貼，包括向社署提供失實的服務記錄文件、教唆長者的家人或照顧者訛稱已接受服務。該署隨即將個案轉介廉政公署跟進，同時提供相關資料和配合調查工作。 五名被捕人士來自兩個服務單位。社署已加強審核其服務記錄和檔案，並聯絡使用有關單位服務的長者及其家人，確保長者得到所需服務。 社署重申，絕不容忍或姑息任何非法行為，定必將個案轉交執法機關跟進調查。部門會繼續嚴格監察認可服務單位的服務質素，並參考廉政公署的防貪建議，檢視社區券計劃的相關程序。 視乎廉署調查結果，社署會考慮終止違法單位的社區券計劃服務協議。如涉及有人多領款項，定必悉數追討。
