禁毒常務委員會成立60周年，禁常會與保安局禁毒處合辦一系列活動，包括校園社區互動巡迴展覽、社區參與活動比賽，鞏固社會禁毒意識。保安局局長鄧炳強主持活動啟動儀式。 鄧炳強致辭時說，政府將繼續與禁常會以積極態度應對快速轉變的毒品形勢。當局計劃本月14日刊憲，將太空油毒品主要成分依托咪酯列為毒品，當日生效，管有或吸食甚至販毒須負上非常嚴重刑責，執法部門已做好預備。 禁常會主席李國棟表示，太空油毒品禍害深遠，會導致成癮、噁心、昏迷，甚至死亡，禁常會全力支持政府加強管制依托咪酯，歡迎執法部門嚴厲打擊太空油毒品相關罪行。 禁常會60周年紀念活動包括巡迴展覽，以時光隧道為概念帶領參觀者穿越時空，了解過去、現在和未來的禁毒工作。展覽設有禁常會60周年專屬展區，展示1960年至2025年間製作的禁毒海報，回顧禁毒宣傳運動的材料，反映禁毒宣傳的設計和溝通策略轉變。展區並展示多張珍貴歷史圖片、禁毒影片，以及政府電視宣傳短片。 巡迴展覽也設遊戲區、電子展板區、「打卡」區等，糅合科學、科技、工程及數學元素，傳遞正確的毒品知識、講解毒品罪行刑責、求助方法等。首場展覽在香港大會堂舉行，展期至本月10日，開放時間為上午10時至晚上8時；此後，展覽將於多區商場、大專院校等舉行。
The Police Force's National Security Department yesterday arrested a 26-year-old man and today charged him with one count of committing an act or a series of acts tending and intended to pervert the course of public justice. The case will be mentioned at the Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.

Intensity of UV radiation : low An intense winter monsoon will affect the coast of southern China gradually tomorrow morning (7 February). Local temperatures will fall progressively later tomorrow. The Observatory will issue the Cold Weather Warning by then. It is expected that the temperatures on Saturday morning (8 February) will be around 11 degrees in the urban areas, and will drop further to about 9 to 10 degrees on Sunday (9 February). It may become the lowest record in this winter. It will be very cold in the morning over many places in the New Territories over the weekend. Temperatures over the high ground may be close to the freezing point. It will become sunny and very dry. Besides, the wind chill effect will be relatively significant. Temperatures felt by the body will be lower than the actual air temperature. Members of the public, especially those engaging in outdoor activities, should be aware of the change in weather, keep warm and take care of the elderlies and persons with chronic medical conditions.
