At noon at the Hong Kong Observatory : Air temperature : 25 degrees Celsius Relative Humidity : 86 per cent During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park : 1 Intensity of UV radiation : low The area of thundery showers associated with a trough of low pressure is affecting the west coast of Guangdong and moving eastwards. It may affect the vicinity of Pearl River Estuary in the next couple of hours. Members of the public should be on the alert and be aware of the latest weather changes. Please be reminded that:The Thunderstorm Warning has been issued. It will remain effective until 2:30 p.m. today. Isolated thunderstorms are expected to occur over Lantau, New Territories West. Members of the public should be on the alert and take note of the latest weather changes.
