Intensity of UV radiation : low In the past couple of hours, due to the local weakening of the areas of intense thundery showers approaching the territory from the west, the Observatory has replaced the Red Rainstorm Warning Signal by the Amber Rainstorm Warning Signal.
However, under the influence of an active southwesterly airstream, showers and squally thunderstorms are expected to persist over the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary today. Showers will be heavy at times at first.
