At 5 p.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory : Air temperature : 28 degrees Celsius Relative Humidity : 69 per cent During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park : 2 Intensity of UV radiation : low The cold front now over inland Guangdong will move across the coastal areas during the day tomorrow. Showers will increase gradually with a few squally thunderstorms in the region around that time. Under the influence of the associated northeast monsoon, local temperatures will fall progressively tomorrow to around 23 degrees at midnight. Under the influence of upper-air disturbances, showers will be heavier on Friday locally. The minimum temperature will be about 20 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Members of the public should be aware of the weather becoming unsettled and temperatures falling appreciably in the next couple of days.
