Intensity of UV radiation : low The areas of thundery showers over the seas south of Hong Kong and the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary are gradually edging closer to the territory. Showers will be heavy at times with squally thunderstorms in the next couple of hours. Members of the public should continue to pay attention to weather tips and warning messages issued by the Observatory. Intense gusts reaching 70 kilometres per hour or above may affect Hong Kong. Members of public should seek safe shelter as soon as possible. Please be reminded that:The Thunderstorm Warning has been issued. It will remain effective until 11:00 a.m. today.
