Our Aims

HKJCDPRI aims to foster Hong Kong as a prepared community to disaster response through training and knowledge dissemination at individual, institutional and policy level:

• Promote community resilience by involving NGOs practitioners and members of the community in Hong Kong in disaster preparedness and responses issues, and empowering them on individual disaster preparedness awareness
• Fostering leaders in disaster preparedness and response by organizing training and facilitating knowledge sharing for healthcare professionals and disaster responders
• To serve as a Centre of Excellence for ongoing professional education, networking and policy conversations
