預 料 位 於 菲 律 賓 以 東 海 域 的 熱 帶 氣 旋 會 在 明 日 （ 7 月 24 日 ） 稍 後 橫 過 呂 宋 海 峽 並 進 入 本 港 800 公 里 範 圍 ， 屆 時 天 文 台 會 考 慮 發 出 一 號 戒 備 信 號 。 按 照 現 時 預 測 路 徑 ， 該 熱 帶 氣 旋 會 在 週 末 期 間 靠 近 廣 東 東 部 沿 岸 並 逐 步 增 強 ， 現 時 評 估 較 大 機 會 在 惠 州 至 汕 頭 一 帶 登 陸 ， 但 與 本 港 的 距 離 仍 存 在 變 數 。
星 期 六 （ 7 月 25 日 ） 初 時 本 港 天 氣 仍 然 酷 熱 ， 但 稍 後 本 地 風 力 會 逐 漸 增 強 ， 狂 風 驟 雨 增 多 。 天 文 台 會 視 乎 熱 帶 氣 旋 的 強 度 變 化 、 其 強 風 區 與 本 港 的 距 離 及 本 地 風 力 情 況 ， 評 估 是 否 需 要 在 星 期 六 稍 後 改 發 更 高 熱 帶 氣 旋 警 告 信 號 。 另 外 ， 星 期 六 海 有 湧 浪 ， 市 民 請 遠 離 岸 邊 及 停 止 所 有 水 上 活 動 。

Intensity of UV radiation : low The tropical cyclone over the seas east of the Philippines is expected to move across the Luzon Strait and enter within 800 kilometres of Hong Kong later tomorrow (24 July). The Observatory will consider issuing the Standby Signal, No.1 by then. According to the present forecast track, the tropical cyclone will edge closer to the coast of eastern Guangdong during the weekend and intensify progressively. According to the present assessment, it has a higher chance to make landfall over the vicinity of Huizhou to Shantou, but its distance from Hong Kong remains uncertain.
The local weather will still be very hot at first on Saturday (25 July). However, local winds will strengthen gradually and squally showers will increase later. Depending on the change in intensity of the tropical cyclone, the distance of its strong winds from Hong Kong, and the local wind conditions, the Observatory will assess the need for higher tropical cyclone warning signals later on Saturday. Besides, there will be swells on Saturday. Members of the public are advised to stay away from the shoreline and not to engage in water sports.
Under the influence of the tropical cyclone, there will be heavy squally showers and thunderstorms locally on Sunday (26 July), and there will be swells.
