熱 帶 氣 旋 鳳 凰 已 進 入 本 港 800 公 里 範 圍 ， 天 文 台 會 在 今 日 下 午 12 時 20 分 發 出 一 號 戒 備 信 號 。 按 照 現 時 預 測 路 徑 ， 鳳 凰 會 在 南 海 東 北 部 轉 向 偏 北 方 向 移 動 ， 在 明 晚 （ 11 月 11 日 ） 至 星 期 三 （ 11 月 12 日 ） 初 時 最 接 近 本 港 ， 於 香 港 以 東 約 400 公 里 或 以 外 掠 過 。 天 文 台 會 視 乎 鳳 凰 的 強 度 變 化 、 其 與 本 港 的 距 離 及 本 地 風 力 ， 評 估 是 否 需 要 改 發 三 號 強 風 信 號 。 隨 後 鳳 凰 會 移 向 台 灣 一 帶 ， 逐 步 遠 離 本 港 ， 並 受 東 北 季 候 風 影 響 而 逐 漸 減 弱 。
在 鳳 凰 及 東 北 季 候 風 的 共 同 效 應 下 ， 未 來 兩 三 日 廣 東 沿 岸 風 勢 頗 大 ， 海 有 湧 浪 ， 天 氣 稍 涼 ， 本 週 中 期 市 區 氣 溫 會 下 降 至 20 度 左 右 。 今 晚 至 明 日 凌 晨 部 分 沿 岸 低 窪 地 區 可 能 出 現 輕 微 水 浸 。 市 民 請 留 意 天 文 台 的 最 新 天 氣 消 息 。

During the past hour
the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park : 1
Intensity of UV radiation : low Tropical Cyclone Fung-wong has entered within 800 kilometres of Hong Kong. The Observatory will issue the Standby Signal, No. 1 at 12:20 p.m. today. According to the present forecast track, Fung-wong will turn northwards over the northeastern part of the South China Sea. It will be closest to Hong Kong tomorrow night (11 November) to Wednesday (12 November) at first, skirting at about 400 kilometres or more to the east of Hong Kong. Depending on the change in intensity of Fung-wong, its distance from Hong Kong and local wind conditions, the Observatory will assess the need for issuing the Strong Wind Signal, No.3. Fung-wong will then move towards the vicinity of Taiwan, moving away from Hong Kong progressively and weaken gradually under the influence of the northeast monsoon.
Under the combined effect of Fung-wong and the northeast monsoon, it will be windy and slightly cooler with swells over the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. Temperatures in the urban areas will fall to around 20 degrees midweek this week. Minor flooding may occur over some low-lying coastal areas tonight and early tomorrow morning. Members of the public should pay attention to the latest weather information from the Observatory. The air temperatures at other places were:
