Training Fellowships

In order to provide an opportunity to develop health-related interventions in disaster settings, the HKJCDPRI offers Training Fellowship Programmes which allow participants to further their disaster preparedness knowledge and skills via training courses or placements, and put into practice their knowledge and skills through designing innovative and practical disaster preparedness interventions and working with related institutions in Hong Kong.

The HKJCDPRI offers the “Overseas Training Fellowship for Emergency Medicine (EM) / Emergency Medical Services (EMS)” which aims to provide opportunities for emergency medical workers in Hong Kong to acquire and improve their skills on emergency medicine aspects; and the “Overseas Training Fellowship for Healthcare Professionals” administered by the Collaboration Centre for Oxford University and CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC) of the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, which aims to equip disaster responders with knowledge and skills in disaster preparedness and response through overseas non-clinical public health training.

The HKJCDPRI also offers a local "Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Training Fellowship" for NGO workers which is administered by the CCOUC.
