Intensity of UV radiation : low Areas of thundery showers associated with the cold front are affecting the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary. Locally, showers are expected to be heavier in some areas in the next couple of hours. Members of the public should be on the alert. Intense gusts reaching 70 kilometres per hour or above may continue to affect Lantau, Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Members of public should seek safe shelter as soon as possible. Please be reminded that:The Thunderstorm Warning has been issued. It will remain effective until 7:00 p.m. today.
