The Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute, in collaboration with the Department of Early Childhood Education of the Education University of Hong Kong, is organising a “Teaching Plan Design Competition on Disaster Education” to encourage serving kindergarten teachers in Hong Kong to devise teaching and learning activities on disaster preparedness, response and recovery for their students. Through this competition, we hope to sharpen awareness and knowledge of kindergarten teachers and students on various natural and man-made disasters.

Eligibility
Participants should be teachers of kindergarten (Teaching assistants & specialist teachers are also eligible) in Hong Kong.

Awards
The panel of judges will select 10 awardees (one Overall Champion and three winners respectively of Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards) from each of Groups A and B who will be presented with certificates and cash awards.
