Following the launch in August this year, the office of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute (HKJCDPRI) has started its operation officially on 1 November 2014. The headquarters of the HKJCDPRI is located on the 9/F of the Academy Building of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. A simple but warm ceremony was held on 31 October to commence its operation with the participation of representatives from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Specialty Colleges, key collaborators and supporting organisations of HKJCDPRI.
